This is much more than an art lesson unit! These comic handouts and assignments are specifically and strategically designed to teach comic creation AND work with ACADEMIC projects in classrooms. Have students “show what they know” in SCHOOL with COMICS! Lessons 1-10 lead up to Lesson 11, where students put it all together in “Make a Comic”. All of the lessons(included in the above bundle) are listed here, and can be used independently. All documents are pdfs. With over 300 cards, colorful posters, coloring pages, and unique visuals, this Autism Visual Resource Kit will make your school life easier and your resource room brighter, bolder, and more accessible to your students. With years in the making, this kit is the culmination of my days spent assisting special education teachers and with populations on the autism spectrum. I decided it was time to develop a professional version of the same requests and visuals that impressed teachers, pleased parents, and delighted students. This kit is ideal for grades 4-9 (special education) and offers a variety of functions to meet the needs of a variety of students. With age appropriate visuals (featuring upper elementary, middle school kids, and teens), this resource was designed to make communication clearer for students with learning disabilities, ESL/ELL and language barriers, autism spectrum/nonverbal populations, and beyond. While it was designed with special ed./autism and school counseling in mind, many of the resources included in this bundle are also a great addition for general classrooms. This extensive kit includes... (300 dpi. png handouts and 2.5" cards in color). Status in other countries is unknown. Check the public domain laws in your country before using. Images from the early 30s and older. Commercial use ENCOURAGED as long as TOU is abided! Set Information: Includes 50 different winter themed images. Some are card-styled scenes, others are stand-alone characters or objects. Some themes in this set include sleds, sledding, winter children, winter scenes, winter or Arctic animals, skis, snowshoes, snow covered houses, snowy owls, sleigh rides and MORE! Most images are winter themed although some good pass for Christmas (there is no overtly Christmas theme, but some characters with holly or festive plants. No Santa or Rudolph,etc. All images are 300 dpi, png. Images vary from 1" to 8" but most can be adjusted for print and web. Background: While viewing public domain images for references, I found myself in awe of the beauty, precision, and uniqueness of these spectacular images. It seemed to be a shame that many of these timeless images would go unseen when they had so much to offer students, crafters, enthusiasts, and teachers. While there were many fantastic pictures available, most needed a variety of edits and touch-up work to be suited for reuse. I decided it would be worthwhile to restore and share my "Found Treasures" in a format that would be better suited for projects.
